Where did it all come from?
So I guess I should start at the beginning.....

My weight has always yo-yoed, I am a tall lass and up until my early-20s I carried my weight reasonably well, I have wide shoulders and hips and always had a smaller, flatter waist. My guess is that I would have been around 70kg at my heaviest and that's merely a guess because it's not something I had to worry about back then
My Mid-20s were carefree, I worked on military bases in the middle east and lost the weight I accummulated the year before heading out there thanks to the heat and walking I was doing. I was probably up and down between 75-80kg.
Cue my late-20s, the slow down of my metabolism, the decrease in my activity levels and the increase in my food intake. I had learned to drive and was no longer walking miles in 10kg body armour. I didn't bother with the gym, I rarely made it to the dining hall, instead I would eat snack food in my tent or order KFC/Pizza Hut to eat at my desk. My weight in Nov 2012 was around 90kg.
When I moved back to the UK in 2015 I was 106kg but still had a fairly flat stomach and had quite toned muscles in my shoulders, arms and calves because my job had been reasonably active compared to normal office work. I started working in a very sedentary office job and didn't slow down in my eating and any exercise I did barely scratched the surface.
The picture here is possibly the most unflattering photo of me take in July.
