Recipe: Lamb Keftedes

Makes approximately 3 Portions, approximately 465 calories per portion

Ingredients

  • 500g Lamb Mince

  • 1 Large Egg

  • Fresh Mint to taste

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method - Prep

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix with hands until the contents binds together well.

Split the mixture into approximately 12 portions and hand roll into ball shapes.

Meatballs can then be refrigerated or frozen for later use.

Method - Cooking

Fully defrost before cooking if portions were frozen.

Add a little frylight to a griddle or frying pan.

Brown the meatballs over a high heat for a couple of minutes

Reduce the heat and turn occasionally to cook through for about 8-10 minutes.

Great served with Turkish style Red Cabbage Salad or with Veg & Gravy.
