January Countdown Challenge: Week 1 & 2 Review

So 2 weeks into 2018, things are going relatively well, I started bullet journalling for the challenge and for my new positivity board goals.

You can see details of my progress on the challenge page.
Week 1
Kicked ass - steps, TV time, keeping hydrated, sleep, calorie intake & protein
I have committed to improving my logging to ensure my calorie intake and protein intake are on point and this is showing. TV time drastically cut down after all the time off work over Christmas which has helped bump my average steps up to around 12000.
Could do better - Running & Relaxing
After all the carbs I was eating over the New Year, my running performance has dulled a little and the weather didn't help in encouraging me out for a third run. Didn't get to relax New Years Day due to landing back from the UK, out of my hands really but should maybe plan my holidays better to ensure I am not getting home at midnight and back into work the following day.
Needs a lot of work - strength training & yoga
Two things that are immensely helpful to my routine and improved my recovery from my back injury in 2016 and yet I just can't find the right routine and balance at the moment. Anyway I'll continue to tweak my routine until I find a way that works.
Week 2
Kicked ass - steps, TV time, hydration, sleep, running & relaxing
Another great week for the usual suspects, improved on running and relaxing, weather was much milder and with eating better I have managed to get a bit more energy about me.
Could do better - Calorie Goal & Protein Intake
Was slightly over calorie intake and under on protein, nothing major but something to improve on.
Needs a lot of work - you guessed it - strength training & yoga
Not a great week for these 2 again, going to look at going back to lunchtime running at work to give me more free time in the evenings during the week.
