To shop or not to shop, that is the question
I'm currently about a third of the way to my goal weight of 85kg which is still on the higher end of BMI allowing an extra 10% for larger frame size.
On the plus side I feel a lot lighter, I feel healthier and I no longer feel like the buttons are going to pop off my shirts or my jeans are going to split at the seams.
On the flip side of this, although it's nice that my clothes are starting to feel a lot looser, they are starting to look a lot more obviously looser, particularly my favourite jeans :(
So the question now is do I buy some new clothes now? Which will undoubtedly cost me a fortune as the only jeans that I can find that fit well for my shape (curse of the chunky thighs, wide set hips and much slimmer waist) are by John Rocha at Debenhams and are around 60 Euros a pop. Or do I wait until I get down to my first minigoal of 95kg and just buy some belts :D
