C25K Update: Week 6

Week 6 Day 1
This was my first time timing my run only (previously I counted in my warm up minutes), this improved my pace time marginally but decreased my distance tracked. I seem to have done something to my calf or back which has caused a bit of a twinge so taking a couple of days to rest up.
Intermittent Run (Non-C25k)
So with the issue I am experiencing with my calf I decided not to go straight into Day 2 and just did a 5 min run/3 min walk interval jog to see how I went, managed it ok and doesn't seem to have made any difference to the pain in my leg. So will try Day 2 on Wednesday. Got to try out my new trainers too (Asics Patriot 8) and have added them to my Garmin gear list to keep track of mileage.
Week 6 Day 2
I was a bit half-assed at this one, walked a lot earlier in the day and was a bit carbed out. But rather than skip it and miss out on the mileage towards my Marathon in a Month challenge I figured I should just get on with it. I walked more than program intends but covered my usual distance by jogging the cooldown period and doing some yoga stretches to cool down instead. Not a wasted evening in any case.
