Time to change it up a bit

I've been at this weight loss thingamajig for just over 10 months now, I am past halfway to my initial goal of 85kg (187lbs) so I figure now is the time to look at increasing my calories a little as it's a good idea to slow down your loss gradually as you get closer to goal.

I have lost 17kg (approx 35lbs) so far and I am pretty happy with my progress, although I could have done a lot better the last couple of months (but that's a different story for another blog post).

I have set my new allowance to 1650 net calories per day and will aim for 1650-1750, previously was aiming for 1500-1600 net . My average sedentary TDEE is about 2150 according to my Garmin which has so far been pretty accurate. This should put me just under a 1lb per week loss.

I will review it again after Christmas which is my next planned Diet Break and look at increasing to 1750-1800 from Jan onwards.
